Mara Tamkovich tells the true story of Belarusian journalist Katsiaryna Andreyeva, who was arrested for broadcasting the anti-government protests in Minsk in 2020 and convicted to eight years of prison for treason in a closed session in 2022. The film, which focuses on her husband Igor Ilyash’s struggle for her release, premiered at the New York Tribeca Film Festival.
