A free-spirited young Georgian woman and an old Russian man attached to his habits symbolize their cultures. Set in St.Petersburg which now carries its original name after being renamed Leningrad following the Soviet revolution, Antique portrays how people’s lives are turned upside down by historical context, while mitigating the gravity of the situation with humour.
