Wild Strawberries, shot right after The Seventh Seal, is one of Ingmar Bergman's optimistic and humorous films. Victor Sjöström, the master actor of the silent cinema era, plays the role of 78-year-old retired doctor Isak Borg, who goes from Stockholm to Lund to receive an award given to him.
