İbrahim and his nephew Yusuf are construction workers at a luxury construction site in Istanbul. İbrahim learns that he has advanced lung cancer. Unlike İbrahim, who is old and ill, Yusuf is an ambitious young man full of hope for the future. As a result of working in harsh and unsafe conditions, a worker falls from a height and loses his life. The company offers blood money to the family of the deceased worker to absolve them of legal responsibility. When İbrahim hears about this, he starts thinking about his family. Even though his family, who are also earthquake victims, are entitled to own a new house, they have to pay installments that will last for many years. But there is no money. As his cancer will eventually take İbrahim to his death, the question arises in his mind: What is a person's life worth and at what cost?
